Woot! Jazzwood is back.

I've been working on my website again: Jazzwood
You might remember it, its my old neckwood blog.
I came to the conclusion that blogger is kinda sucky if you want to edit it.

I will update this blog until Neckwood looks more spiffy.
(Actually it does already, because this blog has an awful theme)

Slacking

Well I have been slacking with the updates again. (as usual)
I've come to the conclusion that I have too much plans lately
and too little time to do them all. As a result I haven't been
really motivated to do any of them.

Although I have been keeping up with my bass and singing practice.
Maybe I just have to slack less on the other things.

I have a lot of plans for this summer, so I'll make a list
here to remind me which things I still have to do.

Da list (of dooom):
- Learn to make a website
- Make the website
- Practice drawing
- Practice writing
- Music practice
- Make photo's
- Decorate my appartment
- Do other cool stuff.


oh and this weekend It is Breda Filmfestival so I'll probably go visit that.

Feel good hit of the summer?

Here I am on the 19th floor of the Eramus MC faculty building, which is about 100 meter high, and its very nice here. I don't know about you kids on the ground level, but the sun is shining here and I'm looking out over the Maas and Rotterdam.

I had band coaching & singing classes yesterday, which went very well (well singing did). And now I'm looking for a new song to learn. After asking around for some new songs Anna send me 'You can't steal my love' from Mando Diao, a swedish band. It is another of those songs you instantly fall in love with. (Irony anyone?)

Given the current sunny situation, will it be the feel good hit of the summer? Who knows but its gonna get high rankings on my list anyways.

I am a Youtube Star!

Ladies and gentlemen. Like I promised, I am now a Youtube Star!

A friend of Oskar ,who is the drummer in my band, taped some video footage of our rehearsals and edited it into a video clip. He uploaded it to Youtube so everyone can check it out. We are all very happy we finally got some of our music online.
Another good thing is that Omnivore made the first popschool newspaper. I'll upload the article later..

Update

Hello ladies & Gents, I'm back with another blog post, Its been a while :O
I've have been busy with some very stressful weeks of school so I wasn't motivated to keep this updated. Another excuse that I have is that you shouldn't post blogs if you don't have something interesting to write.

Which is the lamest excuse ever, because interesting things did happen! So whats new?

- I came back from Denmark safely (and sober)
- I had my birthday + party on the 10th Januari
- Got a digital piano for my birthday. And its super fun.
- I applied for the teater & musik school in Denmark and I got accepted.
Just need to transfer the initial deposit money.
- I started my trainee ship at the Erasmus Medical Center from which I'm typing this.

With no stress on my hands or head I might keep updating this. Next post will be soon, as I found out how to shoot a video with my webcam. So now I have to upload a video of me playing bass to youtube and get 5 stars. I'll probably do that sometime next week...

Crazy Christmas

Christmas is over again this year :< Spend the last few days in Naksov which was super duper.
Martin's parents are really nice people shame we could talk because they didn't speak english and my danish isn't that awesome.

Nevertheless Christmas was good. The 24th we decorated thee tree with lights and shiny baubles. We ended up watching more sex & the city after that. The 25 we got up and got ready for the Christmas happening that evening. We had a Christmas dinner with martin's family.

After that we unwrapped gifts and played raffelgifts (or something). I got a Emo scarf, a book, shampoo, a cd from kings of leon and some candles.

The day after we had a lunch. The lunch was totally danish. We had some starters, some Snapps, more startes, more snapps, beer, main course & snapps, more snapps, desert, & snapps.
In case your wondering Snapps is a danish shot drink. :O

Naksov

Yesterday I visit Matthew & Stina & Isabella, the cute little baby girl. We had dinner at their place. Talked a bit and watched some weird danish TV show. after getting home I browsed some on my laptop and watched Sex and the city with Line.

Today I woke up and went to martin's hometown Naksov.
The car ride took an awefull long time though :< about 2.5 hours.

We had dinner here and more risegrod. Now getting fed on christmas candies and coffee.
